Two separate Pixel 8 have bricked, am I doing something wrong?

So I ordered a Pixel 8 in April from ebay and a month later I let the battery run out and now it's never turned on again. I've tried different chargers and it didn't work. I ended up buying another refurbished pixel 8 pro from backmarket and now the same thing is happening. I let its battery drain a few weeks ago and then it did this thing where when I plug it in to charge it turns on, shows the google sign and then the graphene sign and then the page where it says 'loading a different operating system push button to pause and then it just goes black. The first time I was able to eventually do a hard reset and got it started again but this time I can't get it out of the constant restarting. Has anyone else had this experience? Did I do something wrong in install?

HaloHalo3737 Have you tried pausing and waiting for it to charge? Pixel phones tend to enter a boot loop (constantly restart) when they are powered on from 0%. You might need to charge it for maybe 30min before letting it boot

yup it been able to charge for up to two days, just stays in the boot reloading until it eventually dies

HaloHalo3737 try pausing the boot process when the bootloader shows the bootloader shows the warning about the operating system. It may not be charging most of the time when it's connected.
