Combining Work and Personal Phones w/ GOS

I've had a personal and work phone for a while and would like to use GOS to combine them into one device via two user profiles.

I setup GOS on a Pixel 9 Pro with the owner account for my personal device via Google Fi NanoSim and everything works brilliantly. However, when I add a user for my work profile and try to setup a Google Fi eSim within the work user profile I get an error that the device is not compatible and that I can only view settings and not place or receive calls/texts. I've checked that eSim is enabled from the onwer account and that I've given the required permissions for the Play Store / Play Services / Google Fi apps on both profiles without any luck.

What am I missing? Does Google Fi require a different setup since I'm using two Fi accounts for one phone/device? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For one thing, SIMs are shared across profiles, so just install it from the owner. I'm not sure if that will solve your problem though. It may not be possible to have 2 Fi SIMs on same device.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if I can add the eSim from the owner profile.

As an aside has anyone ever setup two Sims from Google Fi (or any other service) on the same device before?

Some quick Googling suggests either that this is not possible, or if it is possible, both SIMs must be on the same Fi account. (The Fi app only supports one account at a time.)

It's the app that is the limiting factor, so I think it would work fine with most carriers.

Tried adding an eSim from the owner profile but requires a QR code to add; Google Fi only provides a QR code via the Fi app for certain iPhone models.

It appears it's not possible to add dual Google Fi accounts to GOS for now.
