RedDeath Yea, the web installer. I now think it is just my carrier as there is a widespread partial outage in my area. I'm keeping an eye on it to see if the issue continues to manifest.

If you mean eSIM, that is correct. You will not need to reinstall it.

Pvsnoir Try FUTO key board it's awesome for real. and just go ahead and install graphenos i did on my pixel 10 and i have not seen one issue been using it over a month now.

So, does experimental support mean security issues, or just potential bugs / crashes?

I'm reading about USB issues. Is this strictly issues with file transfers, or also exploits that can be done over USB to break into the phone / bypass encryption?

From a security perspective, how does it compare to a stable release?

Pvsnoir It is perfectly normal to be scared if you've never done it before. But the process is easy with the web installer. Just take car to use a good USB cable (preferably the one delivered with the phone) and follow the official guide.

Pvsnoir be sure to follow the web installer guide completely and you'll be fine. Don't follow video guides, as they may be out dated or have missing/wrong information.

Biggest thing I can say is make sure you lock the bootloader when the install is completed. I've read multiple posts of people who had problems because they didn't lock the bootloader at the end.

Pvsnoir It is the same. Just control that your OS and browser are supported. It happens often that people call for help because they have tried with an unsupported combination of OS and browser.

Pvsnoir The key thing is to carefully follow all steps in the official installation instructions, in order. Sometimes people aren't sure what something means, or maybe something seems inconvenient, so they skip some part. Or maybe it seems easier to follow some video than to read a lot of words. But carefully following the instructions in order works very well. And if something gets stuck it is possible to just turn the device off and start again.

Has anyone noticed display glitches (lines occasionally flickering across the screen for what seems like a single frame) when watching videos? It's not really an issue if it's just some GPU driver bug as I know it's experimental, but if I'm the only one seeing it I feel it might be hardware and I will want to exchange it before my return window ends, so just wanted to see if others have noticed this.

My device is a P10 Pro Fold.

I've experienced this, too. It's most likely a driver issue that will be fixed once Android 16 QPR3 is released, as that's when Google will (hopefully) release the updated Pixel 10 drivers as well.
