Keyboard doesn't type letters/output

I'm experiencing an issue where letters don't show up when I type. It often happens on Aegis (that's usually the first thing I use each day) but also on other apps like Instagram. Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure what the issue could be.
I notice it more on Google Keyboard but it's also happened with the GOS keyboard. Both in one profile.

I use Florian keyboard in another profile and it's happened there as well.

Sometimes I have to switch between keyboards to get it to start showing up. Other times I have to reatart the app.

Hello, i have noted the same issue with vanadium or 1password. I haven't been systematic in my testing as it doesn't happen very regularly but it seems that if I change the view or unfocus and then refocus, it works again.

I've had the same thing happen twice. Once using Heliboard, the other using Swiftkey with the network permissions removed.

I forgot to say that it happens with Gboard for me. I'm finding something that looks similar with Chromium: https://issues.chromium.org/issues/384508488 and GPT-5 search suggests there may be race conditions and that such issues could be linked to "InputConnection invalidation due to a race condition during focus changes". I'll let more savvy comment on that. But that may be an upstream issue.
