Force apps/games into full screen?

Some games, generally older ones, seem to prefer rendering below the camera cutout, shifting the entire game to the right when in landscape, leaving a large black space on the left hand side of the screen and sometimes cutting off important parts of UI on the right. Is there a setting somewhere or a workaround to prevent this from happening, like that forces the game to ignore the camera and use the full screen?

MEGAbyter can we get an example of an app where this is occuring for you? Knowing phone model and OS version may be also beneficial.

Pixel 9 Pro XL, fully updated to latest version of GOS.

So far it's happened in Flop Rocket and Warhammer Freeblade, and a few others that I can't recall off the top of my head.

On my S24 Ultra theres an option in settings > display > camera cutout that allows you to choose the behavior on a per app basis.

MEGAbyter I have the same model as you. I played with cutout options on Flop Rocket, none with satisfactory effect. Still, you should appreciate the fact the game works.

Yeah I tried all the settings in developer options and none worked for me either.
