Wifi will not connect

I am just noticing that my Wifi on my GOS phone will no longer connect (Saved/connection failure message after the obtaining IP address message). My home wifi has not changed and my other devices can connect. I primarily use a Pixel 8 but have the same problem when I checked my old Pixel 6a. Both are updated to the latest version of GOS build number 2025081400. Thanks for any insights and I truly appreciate what the GOS team does!

In rare cases, broken routers are unable to accept new clients once their DHCP table is full instead of clearing the last recently used entry. You can work around this by manually clearing the DHCP table via the router administration page and can switch to the per-network randomized MAC mode to avoid triggering the issue again.

Try turning off "per-connection randomized MAC" in Network details for your WAP. The settings are in "Privacy". You have likely run out of available IP addresses temporarily, due to getting a new IP address every time you connect.

I am a major noob when speaking of networking. On my Pixel 8, I tried changing to use per-network randomized MAC and use device MAC and neither worked. I also toggled Send device name and this did not work either. Thanks for your suggestion but I am still unable to connect.

Actually I did but still in the dark. I restarted my router which should have cleared the DCHP leases but I am still blocked.

mmdrsmr Maybe the next thing to do is to take both devices to some other Wi-Fi network (coffee shop, library, etc.) and see whether they work there.

Got it. Thanks for your help! I had to auto-scale for it to resize my number of client addresses. Last question, since I am on my home network, should I not just change the privacy setting to either per-network randomized MAC or use device MAC so this will not happen again? I hate networking!

Personally I would suggest "per-network randomized MAC" for your GrapheneOS devices, at least until someday the router is upgraded. There is no advantage to "device MAC", and a mild privacy disadvantage.
