What is the best way to do a backup for a secondary profile?

As the apps are pushed in my example from owner to secondary,. Do I only need to backup app data and not bother with apps themselves?

How can I restore app data only?

If I backed up all the apps + app data, what happens when you restore apps to secondary profile, if the app already exists in owner? Do we still only have one copy or two now?

It's seed vault still the best option as I've found that gives a 50% success in restores. (Either apps are corrupt or data missing).

Hello, I have the exact same question. Have been unable to find anything regarding backup when apps are installed via the owner profile. My setup installs ALL* (-android auto) apps in owner profile then toggle the apps I want in each profile.

There is APK backups option under expert settings, have not tried but might be the way for my setup. Would love some input from people with similar setup.
