cant find or use private space?

pixel 8a with GOS. can't find or use private space. I have no google play services. is this required for private space? if not can someone explain how to use it? thank you!

Can you provide your current build number? You can find it in Settings -> About phone -> Build number (at the bottom)

I dont see it there... I just realized I gave tasker device ownership, could that be why?

IDK, maybe? Seems strange that it would do something like that...but then I would never grant an app that kind of access in the first place.

You could try yo remove device ownership and then check of it works.

Owner profile is not required, GrapheneOS added support for Private Space in secondary users as well.

Well, you're up-to-date. So that's not the issue, you definitely have Private Space.

Try revoking device admin from Tasker - like @Probably9857 already said, this is a very dangerous and extensive permission and it is generally recommended to never grant this to any app unless you really know what you are doing and really need it without any alternatives available. It might for some reason disable Private Space.
