Ventoy alternatives

I was researching secure x86 operating systems and came across secureblue which is a hardened OS based on Fedora. On their install page they recommend against using Ventoy for the reason of binary blobs. I was wondering, whether this issue is serious, is Ventoy reasonably secure and is there any other, secure, modern, viable alternative to Ventoy that supports the use of multiple OS disk and image files? I would prefer not dedicating a single USB device to every OS I use. Thank you.

In the past, I've used YUMI (Your USB Multiboot Installer) by Pendrive Linux but almost immediately switched to Ventoy when the project started because of the convenience and flexibility it provides.
It's concerning, especially the part with the fake certificate. And despite two different issues and two different projects (Ventoy and iVentory) mentioned in the link you provided, the dev-trust seems to be broken.

This reminds me of a similar certificate case with RustDesk.
