No, these two commands do not delete photos stored on your device:

App Info > Storage & Cache > Clear Cache deletes all temporary files that the app has stored.

App Info > Storage & Cache > Clear Storageresets the app to its factory settings, so to speak (app preferences, settings, logins, etc. are deleted).

@argante I want to try ProShot as well but I thought Google made certain hardware features only accessible to its own camera app(Pixel Camera). Maybe ProShot has same access as Pixel Camera?

Could you please share any information regarding that and if possible share how ProShot might be better or worse than Pixel Camera? or maybe link some thread?

Note: Device is Pixel 8 (not pro, simple pixel 8)

Sorry, I can't comment on ProShot - I primarily use the GrapheneOS camera app and, in a few special cases, Pixel Camera.
