Stuck on a boot loop

I have a Pixel6a which has been succesfully running GOS for 8 months now. It hapened once, like 4 months ago that my battery went down to 0% and I was stuck on a boot loop. I do not remember under which conditions I manage to solve the issue, but I believe it was on the path of just letting the phone charge itslef.

Now it's happening again, after the battery running out completely (which does not always cause this issue for me) I'm stuck on a boot loop. I left the phone run out completely of battery and charge it up for a while before attempting to power it on once again, however it has not worked.

Any recommendations on how to trobleshoot further?

chula I would try turning off the phone completely if possible, and letting it charge for a while. Or try plugging it in and when it gets to the warning screen that your device is loading a different OS, press the power button to pause it and just let it charge for a while. Thats all I can think of for now, maybe others will chime in. :)

nandohyphen1 seems like the first time i left the battery to drain the device did not power off completely. After letting the phone charge for a while the issue resolved on it's own.
