Question: How can I safely eject my USB pendrive?

I flashed a pendrive by my OTG adapter and need to eject safely, but no instruction that I read online works for me and I really don't want to risk.

Where can I access to the USB devices connected to my smartphone? So I can do the proper process.

I have to safe my laptop right now and it's almost 11 pm, so I can go outside to seek for help right now D:

And to clarify, I was able to flash the ISO file correctly, which means my smartphone could recognize the USB device.

Alwaff5 there should be a notification that shows to eject if memory serves me properly for Android devices with mounted file systems via USB.

GrapheneOS is not an ISO file, what are you doing exactly? How does this relate to GOS?

If you are using GrapheneOS, when a USB storage device is active there is a notification which has an "Eject" button. Also, in the Files app, the "hamburger menu" should show all storage devices near the bottom, and if a USB storage device is mounted there should be an eject icon next to it.

Or you could press and hold the power button and select "Power off"; when the device is off it is safe to unplug a USB storage device.

If further help is needed, it would be best to describe what you tried and how it didn't work, as opposed to reporting that nothing you've found online helps (because we don't know what you might have found online and what might have gone wrong when it was tried).

I was trying to install another OS and I only had one laptop (the one not working) and my phone (with GOS) xD

In the end, my cellphone couldn't recognized my pendrive, had to force the removal, and could recognized, that's what GOS had to do, I was scarred xD

It got solved in the end.

In the end, I had to force the removal.

When you insert a USB drive in your phone, a notification icon appears top left of your screen beside the time. Drag down from the top of the screen to view the notification and it offers "explore" and "eject". Explore opens the USB drive and eject allows you to safely remove it. If you are currently writing to the USB drive, it will not give you the okay until it is finished

MotherShipton None of that appeared at first, and the process was actually finished.

In the end, I had to force the removal.

The suggestion was:

Power device off,
Remove USB drive while the device is off,
Turn device on.

If those directions are followed, it is true that the device will not show any controls for ejecting the USB drive, but that will be OK because the USB drive will already be ejected.
