The time is out of sync

I am using Pixel8pro. Very often the time is out of time. I notice when 2fa is not working. Even if I set it in automatic mode, it doesn't work. How could I fix it. Thanks in advance

graphik Check your settings to make sure connections to https://time.grapheneos.org aren't blocked. Maybe your VPN is blocking GrapheneOS domains. Some Tor exit nodes block GrapheneOS servers, so that could also cause problems.

yeah. it was the probelm, I think. I have disabled tor and voila¡ The time has been updated. The most interesting thing is that after re-activate tor, the time update seems continue working.

How do I check to make sure these connections arent blocked? I have tor and i use mullvad vpn, orbot, and proton vpn.

When i turn off my phone at night this past week, the next morning when i turn it on the time is off by hours, even if id set it manually the day before. So both auto and manual seem to stop working.

When a phone is off, timekeeping is delegated to a low-quality clock. On some devices the quality of that clock is very low, so it can drift hours overnight. Another device of the same model would likely not drift that much.

Pixel 8. Ive been shutting off at night for well over a year with no issues and suddenly its off by hours.

But now that i think about it actually, the phone would often have the wrong time when id boot it up but by the time it was unlocked, it would correct itself.

Ive set it back to automatic now, so ill see if it was somehow just a brief hiccup with the auto time. And maybe my attestation fail emails are stemming from just a time problem
