How to dismiss an incoming call and go to home screen?

When there's an incoming call, swiping up or swiping down accepts/rejects the call. Any side swipe is interpreted as up/down (depending on if it was angled up or down).

I'd like to be able to ignore (that is, neither accept nor reject; just let it ring) and minimize the incoming call screen and go to my home screen. A privacy preserving OS should allow me to do that.

Can this be configured? If no, is there a privacy preserving launcher that has this feature?

would also very much like to see this addressed. did you come up with any solutions/workarounds?

You could try changing this setting:
Settings - app permissions - phone app - notifications - and click ' allow full screen notifications '.

That should disable the full screen call when the phone is locked.

But I couldn't test what happens when you disable that. I would guess when disabled you hear it ring, but can't take the call until you unlock the phone and there should be the usual pop up for calls then on your home screen.
