I'm trying to switch from iOS to Graphene. I work in tech and therefore rely on a lot of mainstream products like Gmail and Slack
Currently I have 2 profiles:
- Primary profile for OSS
- Work profile with Slack, gmail, etc
Basically, I want to live in profile 1 as much as possible, but I have to be notified about everything happening in profile 2. So in profile 2, I installed those apps and sandboxed google play, enabled push notifications, and set pushes to he sent to the current profile.
My questions are:
- If profile 2 has google play services enabled, and that profile is always running in the background so I can get pushes, doesn't this somewhat defeat the purpose of delegating google play services into a separate profile?
- For people in similar situations where their work life relies on mainstream tech, and they are using a single phone, how are they handling their setup?
- Anything else I should he considering?
