Juggluco or Libre 3 glucose apps

First post on this forum, so hi folks,
Ithink about switching to Graphene for a longer time, my main concern is getting Juggluco (or - not preferred) the original freestyle libre 3 app) running.
Any diabetics here using one of these apps ?
I use Juggluco, which is not available on PlayStore, so the app should run fine without PlayServices, I'm a little concerned about starting the glucose-sensor via NFC. If anyone is using the original Freestyle app (with PlayServices), I'm also interested to hear about.

I couldn't get the dexcom app situated properly but I prefer xdrip+. I know it has a tie in for juggluco

Why shouldn't NFC work? Mostly NFC works better on a custom system than the stock system.
Good working Bluetooth is more important for a CGM sensor and the destructive influence of battery optimizations and activity in the background restrictions.

I'm very interested too in knowing if Freestyle LibreLink works without issues on grapheneos. @otto23 I'd love to know if you ended up switching to grapheneOS and got the Freestyle apps to work?

thetourist13 The sensor (EU version) works fine with the Juggluco App from the developer's website, I use it for years so tried it first, didn't even check if the Abott app works.

Note: I'm talking of the Libre3 Sensor EU-Version !
afaik it's unknown if there are issues with US-sensors as the app developer also lives in EU with no access to US sensors for testing (see juggluco.nl)

The Librelink 3 application runs on graphene os and my mom used it until 2024.

I think we just had a problem or the application didn't like the switch to the next version of Android.

That said, the application either consumes a lot of battery power or disconnects. Mom finally opted for the physical reader.

Kiba Yes, everything's fine with Graphene (and juggluco), of course I switched. Juggluco runs like a charm, didn't even try the abott app (hate that crap).
I installed the binary version from juggluco.nl, when I try installing from GitHub with Obtanium it keeps telling me my device is unsupported, but this is a minor problem to me that I can live with and probably nothing due to Graphene. I will have a closer look when I find the time to
