I've recently found about the concept of fully homomorphic encryption and it being tackled by company Cornami, trying to turn it into a viable technology, with their chips. It is not even close for it to be available in mobile environment like Pixel device, not even an HEDT. But once there are options for it to be viable at least in an HEDT environment, would this be a technology that the GrapheneOS research project would utilize? Not even necessarily on the OS itself but within its infrastructure? With a project focused highly on security, and a team scattered over the world, while also communicating with Google/Android team and potential OEM/ODM, this seems like a technology that would be beneficial for such a project. But this is based on layman's assumptions. Interested to hear from the team and their opinion about it.
