That's about as useful as asking an AI which model it's based on... AI will always produce garbage in cases like this — how should it know? The information is beyond its knowledge cutoff, and if the developers haven't explicitly provided it (which could be a lie anyways), it won't be able to answer correctly.

Well the latest version of the app seems to no longer work on GrapheneOS (depending on Google Play Services I assume) which is disappointing. So far the other Proton apps like Authenticator, VPN, Drive, and Calendar are still working without Google Play Services.

The AI itself is pretty bad anyway but if anyone still wants to use it the web interface works perfectly fine on Vanadium.

Ronko how did you installed Lumo? The APKs on GitHub (or F-Droid) are the nogms flavor and should just work without GPS. And if you installed Lump from Play Store, you have GPS installed.

I think it improved a lot since the two recent updates 1.1 and 1.2, it becomes more and more efficient and useful.
But yes, behind the big players like ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok etc

I'm having a weird issue with dark theme where I have top up and top down bars still white. Has anyone had the same issue & know how to fix it?

Graphene1 I get "I can't help with that" for basically everything I ask it, so I can't really say anything good about it. And no, nothing I ask it is problematic. It's always something every other AI is fine answering, but these days I just use LMStudio with whatever local model suits me in the moment, because privacy is really only guaranteed when it won't leave a device to begin with, assuming said device isn't compromised.

A few months ago I switched from Windows 11 Pro.
To Windows 11 IOT LTSC and Fedora WorkStation
Dual Boot/Separate SSDs on my ThinkPad

I tried getting the DualBoot setup going last year but it was a nightmare. Didn't understand Linux/Grub had constant issues with Windows Boot Manager. I gave up and reverted back to Windows 11 Pro...

This time I used Lumo as "Tech Support."
And it was so easy... Got it set up exactly how I wanted in one day.
It would not tell me how to get 11 IOT LTSC License from Mass Grave because I guess thats piracy. But besides that it was great. Only thing I use it for currently is also Tech Support.

Im new to Linux. Lots to learn. It tells me the tech support answer in easy to understand way.

I dont trust it for anything else.

I work in tech support and I can tell you for a fact AIs will make up stuff. I finally understand why people have been saying it's recommended to at least have some knowledge on the subject so you can spot BS.

I accidentally broke two Linux installations by using terminal commands the AI suggested and had to reinstall. My best advice for you is set up TimeShift or some other backup method for when AI inevitable ruins your system.

I learned that the hard way the last time I previously mentioned. Im really just trying to learn, I dont know of a easier way to learn and get comfortable on Linux. I guess im blindly following commands but I do feel im learning at the same time. I got my Gaming setup on Linux now! Ha Ha. That was impossible last time.

If I break it ill try again. So far so good. Im all set up. Now I want to "Rice" it. I dont like the look of Gnome that much.

I wonder if Lumo is ever going to be able to be a digital assistant on phones (like Gemini or Siri). Then I may consider using Lumo. I use Dicio right now and it definitely isn't perfect. But I mainly like a digital assistant for driving, so I can just press the button on my stereo and say 'navigate to here' or 'call Bob or Joe'. Thats what I find handy about a digital assistant.

nandohyphen1 I also liked it for driveing but I used it for makeing notes to add to Google Keep while Driveing. I bet finding a speech to text thing that I can copy text later into my new notes app will be easy enough.
