Smartwatches and Asteroid OS

Does the GrapheneOS community have any recommendations on smartwatches? I understand pairing one running wearOS requires a lot of permissions and increases attack surface considerably. Would using one running AsteroidOS be any better?

Sorry, I don't personally have any recommendations. A lot of members on here have talked a lot about the Pixel Watch. I don't know if they'd recommend it or not, though.

I have the pinetime and it's rock solid, it works pretty well and you have all the code and firmware on github and you keep the sync with GOS with Gadgetbridge

+1 on PineTime and Gadgetbridge, having it for a solid year (replacing my Mi Band 6) and I love it. The feature set is pretty basic, no GPS, Microphone or other extras, but for the price this is an awesome piece of tech and the team and mission is very appreciated.
