Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing persistent mobile network connectivity issues on my Pixel 6a running GrapheneOS. Specifically, I'm having trouble in smaller towns and rural areas.
Before switching to GrapheneOS, when I was using Samsung's stock OS, Xiaomi's MIUI, or LineageOS on the same device, I had no problems whatsoever in these locations, often getting 4G and even 5G coverage.
Now, in these smaller localities, I'm consistently stuck on GSM (2G) connectivity. The most frustrating part is that SMS messages are not being delivered, even though I have sufficient signal for making and receiving calls. In contrast, in larger cities, I don't encounter any of these issues; my 4G/5G connectivity works as expected.
I've already tried troubleshooting by modifying APN settings based on other forum threads, but unfortunately, these attempts haven't resolved the problem.
I use two SIM cards: one physical and one eSIM, and both are exhibiting the exact same behavior.
Has anyone else encountered similar issues, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
