So, I'm in a bit of a conundrum. Im sorry if this is a dumb post. But, my phone is repeatedly bugging out and becoming unresponsive. The display will flicker with horizontal bars of static randomly up and down the screen. After a while, the whole screen is full of static and it becomes unresponsive. It seems worse if I use a VPN. I took it into a repair shop and they say that graphene, the os, is incompatible with the pixel and is basically overusing the phone's resources. I dont have any major apps but messaging and signal. Thats it. Barely used any storage space. Is this something fixable by optimizing how the phone is running apps? When I turn off the VPN, it happens less but does continue to happen. The man insisted replacing the screen would not change this. The phone is a bit warm but nothing like ive had in the past with other types of phones and they didn't have this issue.
