how can I effectively share files between scopes?

I did different storage scopes for each of my apps... like whatsapp, instagram, signal, etc... when I take a shot with my gcam and it ends in my gallery... but in order for me to use it in whatsapp, insta etc I need to literally go inside the files app and navigate to the gallery folder in the DCIM and then copy it and move it to the folder of the app I wanna use... isn't there a better way to do this somehow maybe??? like without going to files app at all... copy to buffer or something like that??

rosie_pl With Signal, if you don't want it to access your whole DCIM folder or all photos on your device, you can select the + icon in the message field and either

select Gallery, allow Limited access and pick the media you want to attach
select File and pick the media you want to attach

I send a picture or file using the share button and selecting the communication app I want to use. No need for storage scopes at all. This may however not work for all apps.

cupcake-alibi Same. This is why I use "normal" apps, Private Space and Work Profile at the same time. Can still share things between them that I need shared (but separate).
