Cannot delete an esim in Graphene Os (bug)

Hi
My telecom company pushed a new esim on my phone. I tried to remove the old one after I've setup the new one.
Now the name of the esim got changed to "Card 1"
It seems like I cannot delete an esim.
After a fresh install it is still there.
It mention the size is 0 mb.
There is no delete button.
The sim card just remain there like a ghost.
Why am I having this issue?
Factory reset and erase all esim options do no work at all. Its not possible to delete it!
Is it bad? Someone can tell me what to do?

c5758 since you already factory reset the device can you flash stockOS and then Graphene

Hello!

You can try a Duress Wipe, which should forcefully wipe all eSIMs.

You can set this up from Settings > Security & privacy > Device unlock > Duress password.

Then invoke the duress wipe from the lockscreen. When it reboots, it will notify you that the user data is corrupted and prompt you to factory reset. This can be done from recovery.

Flashing/installing other operating systems does not wipe installed eSIMs. For example, a previous workaround for Google Fi users was to install the eSIM while on stock, and then install GrapheneOS since it could not be set up on GOS. (That specific problem has been fixed.)

You are correct about where the eSIM is stored. GrapheneOS's duress PIN/password wipe includes eSIMs when it performs the wipe, hence my suggestion.
