I've been using Pixel 8 with GrapheneOS for a couple of days. Doing even the most basic of tasks makes the device way too hot. Wathing videos for half an hour produces enough heat to make holding the device feels super uncomfortable. Chatting over discord has the same effect, just less.
Even now as I am typing this post the back of the device is just warm, the edges are slowly heating up.. Is this normal that using your browser makes the device heat up so much?
I switched from Samsung A71, which never got any warm, not while watching videos nor playing games.
I tried turning off 5g, since it's not supported in my country, disabling play services and play market, disabling all apps, enabling battery saver, but nothing helps enough to make a difference.
