I was upgraded to A16 (stable) yesterday on my Pixel 9. I like to use Ghost Commander as a file manager due to the dual pane feature. I have an SMB connection setup to my router and another computer to readily transfer files to my phone (or visa versa). Before upgrade it worked fine. After upgrade, now when I copy a file over from the router or computer to the phone, like an image, it isn't showing in the folder when looking for it with another app, like say a browser used to send it to a web site, nor is it showing when changing file access, like in scopes, nor does the default GOS file manager show the file in the copied to folder, nor do any image gallery apps, like the default GOS one, or others. It seems like it never copied, but I can see it in the copied to folder with Ghost Commander, and I also installed and tried Total Commander in testing it, and it shows in the folder with that 3rd party app too. I tested it on the owner and a secondary profile, both behave the same, no file access to the copied file. If I restart the device the file copied shows up now everywhere like I expected the behavior to be, as it was before the upgrade to A16, without having to do any restarts. In the default GOS file manager, the SMB connections created in the 3rd party apps show up at the bottom of the hamburger menu/left slide panel, so I tested sending files through that and it functions just like the 3rd party apps used to before upgrade. The file shows up where I copy it with no restart needed. It appears to be a bug in dealing with 3rd party app access somehow, but am I maybe missing something? Thanks!
