duckduckduck An AI I was talking to suggested changing audio_policy.confaudio_policy.conf`
I'm not sure if that's even correct, but also https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/11951-ai-generated-text-is-forbidden-with-the-exception-of-automated-translation so it's not allowed. It's very possible what was spat out by the LLM is complete nonsense. I am not an Android developer so I may be wrong, but it appears to be incorrect to me.
Since it's against the rules and appears to be incorrect, I will be removing the filename and code block.
Also, in the tracker, where did you get this sentence?
The flag concurrentAudioRecordBypassPermission:false confirms your device does not allow concurrent mic access by default.
duckduckduck I would like to get this implemented as soon as possible.
It's understandable that you may want this feature. I believe this is the second time I've seen someone ask about this within the past day. It's possible they're working on making it possible upstream (hence the flag). I'm not sure if GrapheneOS developers can simply change the flag value and it'll work as expected. I'm sure you understand that they have other higher priority things to work on.
My best suggestion would be if anyone wants a concurrent recording feature, they can change the flag themselves and build their own GrapheneOS builds to see if it works. That would be a good first step if changing the flag value is all that needs to be done for concurrent recording to work as expected.
