[SOLVED] Pixel 9a died after installing latest update

Hi,

unfortunately it looks like my Pixel 9a broke after installing the latest version. I don't know which version I'm currently on but this is what I did:

About 24 hours ago I switched to the Beta channel as this version was described as relatively stable by the account on Mastodon. I immediately switched back to stable and just now received another update. The phone took about a minute until it finally rebooted to install the update which is weird and during the boot process it rebooted multiple times. I ended up on the SIM unlock screen, entered the SIM pin, entered the device PIN and then the screen turned dark and the device is unresponsive since then.

I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, plugged the Pixel 9a in for a few minutes but it seems completely dead now.

Is there something I can try to fix this? It's about 3 weeks old and I've never had an issue before.

Edit: Okay, holding the power button + both volume buttons for 10 seconds brought the device back. :)
It's running version 2025070700.

It seems like holding the power button alone isn't enough.

I want to say there is a button sequence to force a reboot. Had something similar on my old P6a. Also, just got the last update 2025070700 a few minutes ago with no issues on my P9a.
