Vanadium: How to disable multiple windows?

Vanadium sometimes opens new windows instead of tabs. For example when opening URLs via "share with: Vanadium".

I would like to completely disable multiple windows. How can I do that?

For starters, I would also be happy with a work-around to make "share with: Vanadium" use a new tab instead of a new window.
