I've been running GOS on my Pixel 8a since the first of this year, and had no issue up until a week or two ago.
A little background, I use WiFi and WiFi calling when at home as cell service at my house is very hit and miss, for all carriers.
The problem started recently, when I go somewhere, and I'm talking about locations that I know have strong 4G LTE at the least, and most have strong 5G signals. When I look at my phone I see that I have no service. No Data, and no phone service. I can sit down, reboot the phone, and then I will have great service, as expected. Note that my location did not change. During the time it's not connected, the phone is burning through the battery at a high rate. I've seen this happen when a phone is running the transmitter at full power looking for a tower to respond. But in this case there are multiple towers in close range with strong signals.
I have been doing some reading, and will try Enabling then Disabling Airplane mode next time to see if that will restore service. I'm also planning to try and look through the logs for any indication of what is going on.
I'm wondering, is anyone else having this issue recently?
In other words, is it only my phone....
I'm on Build #: 2025062700
Thanks
