Neighbor is stomping on ceiling. best way to screen record oscilloscope?

My neighbor is purposely stomping on the ceiling at night probably because im playing music during the evenings which is allowed under the lease. I need to document this and have an oscilloscope app that is showing the sub-bass. I don't know how to record the screen. Is there an app that can record the screen of Graphene?

angela I cannot help you with the app suggestion, but have you perhaps asked your neighbor? I appreciate playing music in the evening is allowable as per your lease agreement, but I think entering into a civil discussion with your neighbor may be more beneficial.

I think you and some others are figuring this is a situation of someone walking slightly loudly and now I'm out to narc on them.

It is not that. I was playing rap music during the eving (like 5-6 pm) at a normal volume, just the radio, without a subwoofer, and this person is pissed, they are doing some tit for tat bull and I'm tired of it.

This is because if this keeps happening, I need to show the landlord proof to get them to either respond or possibly so I can break my lease.

It's really annoying. And although I have a low threat model, am truthful, and have never been arrested, someone else in a similar situation with a secret dark past may not want to directly talk with the neighbor and attract attention.

So keep your judgment to yourself. This was not a one time thing, this is someone above me being a jerk.

Maybe invest in some good quality noise cancelling headphones that would kill two flies with one slap and will let you listen to your favourite music more immersively.

So, you're doing something to piss them off and are confused by the fact that they're pissed off? And just because something is technically allowed or legal does not mean that it is acceptable behavior. Seems to me like you live in a wood-framed building like a divided house or lowrise, so naturally, sounds will not be totally dampened by the construction. Its YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to keep your noise level within socially acceptable limits.

Does your oscilloscope show sound pressure level like a dB meter? If you can get sound pressure levels then you can show your landlord that your music is no louder than another household appliance like a vacuum cleaner.
