Bank of Scotland app rooted error

My BOS used to refuse to load.

Then for some reason it started working for a few months.

Now it refuses to load again stating the phone is rooted/jailbroken with error code 9300100.

Same issue happened with Halifax bank app.

Has anyone found a fix for this for BOS and Halifax?

All of these banks are part of the Lloyds Bank group which bans GOS. I used to be with Lloyds and raised a formal complaint about it. They told me to f*** off so I said the same to them. I can highly recommend Nationwide Building Society

The fix needs to be on the side of the Bank/App Developer. They are using flawed detection and falsely reporting your device is rooted. I suggest contacting them to explain this is not the case and share the Attestation Compatibility Guide so they can properly support GrapheneOS.

Does anybody here have a guess at how many banks (or other apps for that matter) are actually whitelisting GrapheneOS boot key fingerprints?

Probably not more than a handful. People resign really quickly assuming things will never change.
We need to apply constant and increasing pressure.

Maybe put pressure on them if you are a customer (if they are to be believed that they will do something about it if they get more requests - like that thread explains)
