Mandorr Hey guys, I'm looking to buy the pixel 8a on amazon.de so I could install GrapheneOS. The listing says "Without SIM lock", does this mean the OEM is unlocked? Has anyone bought it on amazon.de? Should I order it? I would really appreciate the help! de0u Mandorr In the United States it is common for a phone to be "SIM unlocked" / "carrier unlocked" without being OEM unlockable aka "factory unlocked". Verizon variants of the Pixel are like that.
Mandorr de0u Thanks for the info! The listing says it's sold by Google, so I'm hopping it's the unlockable version. Do you know if this is an issue only in America or also in European countries?
Mandorr I found an ever better listing on amazon.it (Italy version), it's definitely factory unlocked and its also a bit cheaper.
