I had Wire on my phone for years and really wanted it to be useful, but pretty much no-one I interacted with used it, and those that did gradually stopped. It's primary feature was the use of usernames tied to emails (which could be masked) instead of phone numbers, but Signal eventually realised this was something they needed to do, so that distinction evaporated.
Turns out I still have it on my phone, although it is Disabled. So, I must still want it, but unfortunately can't use it.
