Double tap power to camera bypass unlock

Hi. Something I made a lot of use of on stock Pixel OS was the double tap power to camera function...

Double tap wouldn't require unlock and you'd be in the camera app only immediately . Very useful!

On graphene I'm using pixel camera (network disabled) a double tap of the power from a locked phone prompts for pin (not even biometric) which obviously slows things down.

Is there any setting to allow this. Or would it be more a feature request?

It works for me. Maybe you need first to set it as the default camera app. Double tap when the device is unlocked and then choose to Always open Pixel Camera. After that I think it should work.

uniquecamel thanks yep if unlocked it works fine straight to pixel camera

If device is locked I get PIN entry

Aha working now!! Thanks

Seemed double tap when unlocked worked

But when locked I had to enter pin and then choose the default app again.. Once doing that then all is good!!

On my pixel 9a it works like it should be. Double press power opens camera. Everytime i do it... 🤔
