Disabling System Apps

I'm trying to disable as many system apps as possible in my secondary user profile, without creating any problems. In my case, the goal is to declutter the apps menu when I scroll up.

Here's what I have disabled:

App Store
Auditor
Info

For Info, I am positive this shouldn't be an issue.

But how about App Store and Auditor? I install my apps from the Owner profile and run Auditor on Owner as well.

Should either of these apps being disabled be an issue in this case?

The three apps you mentioned aren't system apps but rather "regular" apps shipped with GrapheneOS. To show system apps in AppManager you have to got to the right upper corner, click on the 3-dot-menu and there "show system apps". It's highly recommended not to change anything on these real system apps. So better to hide them again after taking a look on that. For most of the "regular" apps it's harmless to deactivate them in a 2nd user profile, including these three. The owner profile is running in the background and the Appstore there updates all it's apps system wide regardless of it's disabled in 2nd profiles. "Info" is just for showing release notes of the OS, nothing else. Auditor you can just use together with a second device AFAIK. I would leave the the preferences and launcher apps untouched. Any other app you can safely disable and change back if you realize any issues in your use case. If you're not using the phone or SMS function in your 2nd profile it's also harmless to disable it there (but never do this in owner except you don't want to use phone and SMS at all on your device or you use other apps for that.

I have both the app store and the auditor disabled on all secondary user profiles as well. Haven't had an issue till now. I don't think you need to worry about it.

You can instead toggle off the feature "Turn on phone calls & SMS".

You mean in the user-settings for a 2nd profile? But these apps are present in the 2nd profile nevertheless. You can't use them due to the lack of phone- and messaging permission, but they are there and 'activated'. And by that way I recognized a mistake in my previous post: you aren't able to deactivate these both apps at all, so the only you can do is toggling off the feature as @fid02 wrote.

Of course, they use a certain amount of RAM and it depends on what's running in such a profile. But I can't say how much more in relation to have everything running in only one profile.

Android puts background profiles at a very low priority so I wouldn't think so. It's also the reason apps aren't where you left them off exactly when you return to the profile, so I usually end session when switching.

Also I'm not sure why you'd want to disable it? If phone and SMS functionality has been disabled then the apps can just be ignored.

Maybe more essential might be the effect on battery drain. But also in this point I don't have experience or comparison.

I don't really want that. I just wrote that (although I mixed that up with other functions like force stop or disabling background mobile data usage) because the TO asked for disabling as much unwanted/unneeded apps as possible. And some people use secondary profiles for e.g. just one special app which they also use not often but want to have them strictly separated from all other apps. In such cases I would disable such unneeded apps but if that's not possible I would also don't care.
