I am attempting to flash GrapheneOS onto my Pixel 6 Pro using Microsoft Edge on my Windows laptop, utilizing a USB-A to USB-C cable. When I connected to my laptop's Thunderbolt 3 port with a USB-C to USB-C cable, it would constantly drop the connection, and I did not use it because of this. I first attempted to use the WebUSB installer. I confirmed that OEM unlocking was enabled, and that my device was not carrier locked. Although the instructions did not mention it, I also had USB debugging enabled. I updated my phone to the latest version of Android. I successfully the GrapheneOS release on the WebUSB installer as well. However, when I attempted to flash it to my phone, the WebUSB installer briefly said "writing raven-install-2025062000.img", and then it would get stuck on "Restarting device..." The progress bar would not move at all.
My phone would briefly show the Google logo, then it would go back into the bootloader. It showed an orange triangle with an exclamation mark, and said that the device's security integrity could not be guaranteed, and not to keep any sensitive information on the device. This repeated a couple of times, and after that, I was booted back into the stock OS. I did not connect the phone to my laptop until I was in the bootloader, and it was fully charged at the time I attempted to flash.
I read that some people had problems using the WebUSB installer, but that the command-line installer worked perfectly for them. I decided to give that a shot. After installing the latest usb-driver, verifying both factory images and confirming that both ADB and Fastboot recognized my phone, I successfully completed every step up until flashing the phone. I entered "./flash-all.bat" in the terminal, and it read:
"Available devices:
Press any key to exit..."
Nothing happened after this.
After this did not work, I tried removing my SIM card and factory resetting the phone. USB debugging was disabled this time. I then tried using the WebUSB installer on a different Windows desktop computer using a different USB-A to USB-C cable. This computer lacks a USB-C port. I tried using Chrome on this computer, and I encountered the exact same issue.
Am I missing something? Is there anything else that I can try?
