Anonymous FB account and other social media apps in one profile

Hi, I need to create an anonymous FB account. I tried to create it already, but always failed in the end when FB aksed me to take a selfie. Multiple methods I used to create FB account were different - with VPN, without VPN, with different browsers, freshly installed, but also with some history, on public wifi, on mobile network, the result was always the same. I used fake google account, but also other domains, none worked.

Last chance is to register it with tel nbr. I have SIM card, not tied to me......but I am noy sure it this works. Any ideas how to successfully create anonymous FB account?

Lets say I will succeed, will it be smart to install FB to the separate user profile (Social) together with Twitter, telegram, FB messenger? I would need to have an access to the same phone folders for all Social apps. Is that possible without ruining my anonymity?

Hard to imagine anyone getting around that these days. Their policies and documentation clearly explain why it happens and more importantly, why you're not going to outsmart a billion dollar tech company.

embeathome I didn't read the whole thread so apologies if already covered. I know of folks who have successfully got this done, but before I write further, nite that I DO NOT personally endorse this method, because I don't find it morally appealing. However since I know of 1st and 2nd hand reports about this being done and because I don't want to be moral-policing here it goes.

All these usually get done in poor(er) countries or countries where many live in poverty. So for a (rather small ) amount of money, many of these folks will happily do the selfie (and even phone number) bit for you. Privacy/anonymity etc are like the 6 millionth item in their priority list - assuming they even ever gave these a thought.

So basically it's identity hijacking, which is why I don't condone it personally (unless this level of anonymity was necessary to protect my life or something, but not so sure why I would do it for facebook at that point :D )

With anonymous physical SIM card connected to the provider's network, without any email address (which I created, just in case - gmail), in the country where I bought the SIM card, without VPN or anything, on a cheapest Redmi A5 phone. No selfie verification required and account successfully created :) Immediately set 2 way authentication after account creation.

VOIP number will most likely not work. You can try a service like https://juicysms.com/ that specializes in this kinda thing. No guarantees though.

If you do manage to create an anonymous account the first thing to do is set up totp 2fa so they won't ask you for additional data for your "security".

Better keep these invasive apps isolated in a sperate profile locked behind Orbot or VPN. Better yet don't use their proprietary apps. There was an article not long ago about Facebook deanonymizing users VPN with hacker grade loopholes. Use PWA or a wrapper like nobook or slim social. And don't use the profile for browsing since they have eyes on many sites.

A friend of mine was forced yesterday to set FB account due to whatsapp integration into his project. He did it on PC and FB didn't ask him for selfie. Only phone nbr (and maybe email).
I have physical SIM card, not VOIP, so I will give it a try. Yesterday, I was able to open google account behind mullvad with multihop set, google didn't even ask me for phone nbr!

embeathome If using play store to create Google account, you will not be forced to give a phone#, however if done via other means or using a computer google will not allow you to pass without giving them extra data.

With Facebook, unfortunately of you won't give them a phone# they will lock your account until you do a selfie video.

All of this tested yesterday.

Sigismund just created a Google account with fake details under Mullvad in Vanadium. No questions asked. Makes me wonder how many miles ahead Google is in terms of tracking. Of course I am not going to use it. It is NOT anonymous.

Sigismund it looks like it depends. I created account through chrome browser freshly installed. No phone nbr requested. It maybe also depends on from which country it is created.

so i dont think, that you did not had to enter a phone number is an indication that they know who you are...

SgtSurehand I did not have that luck before when trying to create sock pupprt accounts. Obviously I am not planning to use it, just had to have a spare email to create a Facebook account (which I am only planning to use in separate profile via browser) to communicate with groups not available outside of Facebook.. I honestly hate the idea that forums / boards no longer exist (at least here) and you gotta use FB for most of such communication..

Being anonymous/private today is not free of charge. You have to buy one or more SIM cards without KYC - this is only one reliable solution. There are such SIM cards free and legal available on the market.

Sigismund So after one day of usage FB decided to lock me out asking for confirmation code which they never send (so far at least) and I am not able to login at all.. Not sure if it's just my bad luck or FB really wants that selfie but yeah, my experience is that be prepared if you really need/want FB to give them that damn selfie video..

The most important is to not use a VPN. Use a WiFi cafe. Also, don't use an email allias, rather use an email address. For phone verification, use smspool.net, you can top-up with Monero.
