Forgot to say this...When attemtping to charge, and sometimes even after stopping charge, for about half a minute, instead of the actual remaining percentage in the battery...I get a question mark. In this screenshot, the phone is hooked to the USB, it had about 60ish percent left on the battery, and it's currently drawing...1W. So not really charging much at all. And I feel it might be related to...maybe the kernel not knowing the battery capacity at the moment? After unplugging, eventually it figures the percentage left after half a minute or so, and the question mark goes away.

Wait now...I unhooked from the charger...and now after 10 mins I still have the question mark even if it's no longer charging. Sigh...I have no idea what's causing this. The battery doesn't discharge abnormally fast or anything like that. I'm not sure what's happening.
