Here are more details. Take into account I am a newbie as regards smart phones even after decades in computing.
My phone supplier is not Telus per se, but Public Mobile (PMob), a subsidiary of Telus. Their app name is Public Mobile.
As suggested elsewhere in this forum, I bought and installed a sim to make activation easier.
That sim is recognized by GrapheneOS. I see it in Network & Internet.
Access Point Names are Mobile Internet sp.mb.com and Tethered Mobile Internet isp.mb.com.
The former is currently selected (my selection).
eSIM support is active. Should I disable it? There is a strong warning against. But I don't care about eSims now.
The App Store app shows that the following are installed:
Google Play Store, Google Play services.
On the sim package, PMob instructs DOWNLOAD THE PUBLIC MOBILE APP and shows a QR code, which I did not use.
I searched and found the Public Mobile app.
Below the Install green button, I see this warning:
This app is not available for your device.
What is wrong? Permissions? or what else?
Your help will be MUCH appreciated!
