Not able to toggle Android Keyboard (AOSP)

Like the title says I'm not able to toggle the Android Keyboard (AOSP).

I would like to use a different keyboard, specifically the FUTO Keyboard instead of the AOSP Keyboard but it won't let me disable the Android AOSP Keyboard for some reason.

Lamboorg you can't disable it, you can select the default one of your choice

Lamboorg I also advice against disabling the stock keyboard; if there is a bug in a third-party keyboard app which prevents it from working in a before first unlock state, then you could get locked out of your device. This has happened to users in this forum before. The stock keyboard can be disabled with adb, but there's no reason to do so. I'm not sure why you would. It doesn't get in the way or prevent you from using a third-party keyboard.

Its not, it usually breaks functionality. The GOS team has said not to disable system apps.

There's no place to disable info on the app store from what I can see. I'm just mentioning, GOS has explicitly talked about not disabling system apps. Info may be less of an issue since its just info, but as a general rule, don't.

Just because its there doesn't mean its safe, GOS kept developer tools and adb as well, still not safe
