Backing up App data for apps that don't back up with Seedvault

I have a few apps that don't seem to report data to back up to Seedvault, meaning their data isn't getting backed up. Any clue on how you'd back that up on Graphene?

Apps that rely on Keychain and Keystore APIs may appear to back up but will crash or fail to run after restore - no backup solution, even those relying on root, can fix this.

The main reasons an app won't backup in seedvault are data size (either too large or no data reported by the app) or if the app has not been used recently.

Seedvault largely ignores the allowBackup manifest tag since the D2D changes last year.

I built myself a pretty elaborate background in the aosp version of Kustom Live Wallpaper (KLWP). Seedvault says "App reported no data for backup", showing an orange triangle next to the name.
But the app for sure has data, it saves the wallpaper, its not in the one folder i gave it storage access to, so it could grab the images i use for the wallpaper. In the app settings, it reports 71.31mb User data and 27.95mb cache.
The export function on the app seems to be broken, at least for the aosp version (the play store version needs gapps, which i dont use), so a backup tool is kind of the only way i can ensure i dont have to do about 10 hours of work again setting this all up.
There seems to be some data in Android/data/org.kustom.wallpaper/cache but thats about it. The cache doesnt seem like it would be everything, i dont think these file sizes add up.

If your apps support exporting data, you could use that as a workaround. In fact, that's how I back up all my apps.
