Whatsapp keeps crashing

Whatsapp keeps crashing (this is not new, it has been like this for months for me)

At the beginning i had DLC disabled and i thought it was because of that, but then when i enabled it like a month ago, it still kept crashing...

So i am wondering, if it is my configuration?
I have pixel 8, installed from playstore:

Hardened Memory allocator - enabled
Memory Tagging - enabled
Native Code Debugging - disabled
Webview JIT - disabled
DlC via storage - enabled
DLC via memory - enabled

There is not a crash report, it just closes itself.
Is it possible that like, by having DLC disabled, it somehow updated/ changed some components dynamically in the past, and i am now missing these changes?

It is version: 2.25.17.80

unfortunately you should turn off memory tagging. also I have DCL via memory setting Default (Disabled), so should you. rest of the settings is the same

thank you, with memory tagging off it appears to work now (and i disabled DLC via Memory)

that is a bummer tho, that it has to be turned off, even tho there isnt a mte-bug detected itself..

dhhdjbd yeap. I've only Whatsapp and proton suite where mte is off.
