Bluetooth turns off and back on when switching profiles

Hi, I'm new to GOS and this is my first post. I have a Pixel 9 Pro with build 2025061600.

When I connect a bluetooth headphone and change profile, Bluetooth turns off and back on, and then I have to connect the headphones again. So, I can't keep the headphones connected if I want to check something on another profile and then go back.

I don't know if this is by design or can be configured.

I've also noticed another, related, issue with Bluetooth. If I 'End Session' for a second profile, Bluetooth is disabled. When I log back into the owner profile I have to re-enable Bluetooth. In this situation note that Bluetooth was originally enabled in the owner profile, and when just switching back and forth between the owner profile and a second profile Bluetooth behaves as @Arianess describes above. I generally keep Bluetooth enabled, and would like to stop this behavior.
