I have been getting hacked quite a bit recently and Bluetooth seems to be involved. Let me give you examples. I had an iPhone and Bluetooth would just magically turn itself back on despite being turned off from the settings menu. Then, I bought a Samsung phone. I accidentally didn't turn Bluetooth off in all the places you're supposed to and within two days a custom developer menu had been installed on my phone.
So I've been trying to harden my permissions. I just noticed that the Bluetooth system process on my device has accessed the nearby devices permission and contacts permission within the last week despite having been turned off immediately after set up. I'm also surprised by how many permissions this process insists it must have on my device: reading and writing SMS, modify contacts, prevent phone from sleeping?? Is this normal?? Or am I in trouble again??
Sorry if I sound paranoid.
