[Newbie] Using Owner profile as app pusher - Updating app across profiles?

Suppose I used my "Owner" profile to download, install, and verify NewPipe. I then push it out to my other profiles. Fine. (note: I also have Obtainium and AppVerifier in my Owner profile)

Tomorrow, NewPipe updates, and when I open the app in my "Everyday" profile it recommends that I download the latest APK. How should this work? Should I handle it right here? Or do I need to go back to Owner, update and verify there, and then re-push to Everyday profile? I can't really imagine doing this for like 10 apps a week.

How do you all handle this?

When you update an app in your Owner profile it'll be updated system wide. You don't need to push an app again to a secondary profile, it's also updated there. In Obtanium exists a setting for automatic (background) update. If it's set in Obtanium in your Owner it should also update when you're on your secondary profile. There's a hint in the settings section, that it may not work with all apps but usually it should.
