Can't sign-in to Google account when supervised

Hello .
I recently switched from LineageOS to GrapheneOS on my Pixel 8a, and I'm encountering an issue with my Google account. My account is currently supervised, and I'm unable to log in on the device. It worked fine when I was using LineageOS with the Google add-on, so I suspect there might be a problem with the Google Play sandboxing on GrapheneOS.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Logging out and attempting to log in again
Rebooting the device
Activating Digital Wellbeing's device

However, after the "Getting next steps ready..." message, I always get stuck on the screen that says "Setting up supervision."

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

kozika What exactly are you trying to sign in to? A Google app? If so, which Google app? A website? If so, which website?

This implies that you've already managed to sign in once. How did you do that, and is it possible to replicate those steps?

kozika I suspect there might be a problem with the Google Play sandboxing on GrapheneOS.

"Sandboxed" means that Google Play apps are running in the standard Android app sandbox, like any other app you install, not any special sandbox. Unless what you are trying to do requires that Google Play apps gain privileged access, this is unlikely to be the cause.
