Receiving duplicate SMS's in default SMS app

Hi everybody,

I've suddenly started to get duplicate SMS's in the default app.

I have multiple profiles and it seems like the number of duplicates is related to the number of profiles that have access to SMS.

I don't know what started it. Two things happened:

I updated the messenger app.
I set my own phone number in the advanced settings.

Has anybody else experienced this as well? It's quite annoying.

I am receiving duplicate SMS, as far as duplicating each individual message in one SMS thread. My messaging app just received an update this morning (also default app), so maybe that fixed it, not sure. Haven't received an SMS yet.

Oggyo the new app was moved to stable an hour ago, so I'm wondering if the issue is caused by the new one or not.

I'm unsure how to check version history, my messaging app was updated a few days ago and then again today.

I'll wait to receive a new SMS and see if the issue persists. If it does, I'll repost with the version number. My assumption is this new deployment probably fixed it.

Just received an SMS. No duplicate.

Currently using version 10 of Messaging App.

Yeah, I can't confirm. I don't use SMS.

Thanks for a quick reply. I can confirm upgrading to newest version fixes the problem :-)
