App Not Working

Dunkin Donuts app won't let me sign in... Just gives some sort of error. Won't let me reset the password either, so it must be a setting it wants access to. Any idea what setting that might be, and if the app has its own profile, what privacy is lost by enabling it?

Sagebath It's hard to tell what the issue might be without more details. You can try enabling exploit protection compatibility mode in the app's settings (Settings > Apps > All apps > Dunkin Donuts) to see if that helps.

Sagebath You can try troubleshooting first to see if it helps. There are a few things that are changed with exploit protection compatibility mode, mostly to allow apps to run even if they have memory bugs and a couple other things. If the app continues not to work with compatibility mode on, then that can narrow down what might be causing the issues with the app.

I can't imagine how enabling exploit protection compatibility mode will expose more information about you.

No, it's already enabled, which strengthens the app sandbox. Turning it off weakens security and increases compatibility. I just want to understand how it is weakened.
