Yellow tint on dark backgrounds and low(er) brightness

It started this morning, when there's dark background the phone adds a yellow tint on the screen, if I lower the brightness it becomes even more yellow, it's muddy yellow-green ish, the touchscreen works just fine as well as the fingerprint sensor, it disappears completely at around 80% brightness, I tried changing the colors on the display settings and none fixed the issue, I have turned off dark mode completely so I can use the phone, even now as I'm writing this, if I lower the keyboard the phone recognizes darkness on the screen and applies the yellow tint, it's not night light either, I turn it on myself every night and it seems to add an extra layer of yellowness on top of the bug. The black of the OLED screen has been destroyed, even when rebooting I can still see the yellow tint where the pixels should have just turned off.

I did read some relevant threads here but none of the solutions they offered worked, I tried restarting the phone and it did not work, I don't have access to a PC right now and I don't want to risk bricking the phone without being able to fix it. It's a pixel 6 pro I've been using for about 14 months now, I love graphene and this is really the first problem I encounter that I cannot solve on my own, AI has been useless so far, I would really appreciate any help 🙏

I have had the same issue but for me,it apperared about a year ago.At first I thought it was some kind of corrupted data bug, but when I factory resetted the phone it didn't change anything. I also installed other Roms, kernels, reflashed the bootloader and all other firmware partitions, but again, that didn't fix the issue. After I had installed android 15 beta and let the phone sit on my table unused for 20ish days, it suddenly disappeared. But after reinstalling Graphene and installing Sandboxed Google Play on the non primary user in my case (10), it appeared again. I don't know if this is GrapheneOS's fault or just a hardware issue. I still don't know the exact cause of it. It might have stemed from my extensive use of very resource heavy games producing too much heat and damaging the screen in the process, but I can only guess at that point. I didn't root my GrapheneOS installation, I just used it as is. So either this is a hardware or a very low level firmware issue.

JW10234 I'm now almost confident it's a hardware issue, the phone fell screen first into the floor from about a meter high, no visible damage to the screen, the yellow tint started right after the fall, but I was way too tired to notice anything, so I assumed it started in the morning, I don't do heavy gaming, I don't have access to a computer now so I don't want to risk bricking it by messing with the software, l'll just wait until I'm home to reinstall stock pixel OS, I needed a "normal" phone anyways for a few apps, I found a vendor selling the pixel 8 pro for around 630 euro so I'll just get that as a main phone with graphene, thanks for your answer man.
