Donation situation unclear

Hi,

I've been meaning to donate, with my preferred method being Github sponsors, but am uncertain about something:

https://grapheneos.org/history/ mentions Graphene OS Foundation established in 2023
https://grapheneos.org/donate lists said foundation as the recipient when donating via bank transfer
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GrapheneOS mentions: "In May 2023, Micay announced he would step down as lead developer of GrapheneOS and as a GrapheneOS Foundation director."

Yet https://grapheneos.org/donate links to https://github.com/sponsors/thestinger for donations via Github, which seems to be supporting Micay as a private developer?

I'm not implying anything, but would appreciate some clarification. Further up I think the situation should be made clear; if the answer is somehow easy to find/deduct, I'd be glad if it be pointed out to me how.

All donations, whatever the method, go to GrapheneOS and its developers, Daniel Micay is still part of the project and you don't donate to him privately via the Github page, but to the project as a whole, I can't remember why the sponsor's Github page links specifically to Daniel Micay's sponsor page, but really, whatever your method of donating, the result is the same, you donate to the project as a whole.
